What we do

Since 1980
Affiliated to the CISCE Board and the first ISO-certified institution in eastern India, the Model School today teaches around 3,500 students.

Since 1991
An evening school offering free education, books and uniforms to around 1,300 underprivileged children from in and around Jamshedpur. Its roll has grown from 50 pupils to 1,300.

Since 2019
A Kerala-style canteen with modern facilities, run by members of the Samajam and serving South Indian food at reasonable rates.
Since 1939
Established in 1939, Kerala Samajam is one of the largest Malayalee organisations in eastern India, with around 1,500 active members. It was founded to create a network and an identity for people from Kerala living in the steel city - and over the years it has worked steadily for the welfare of the wider Jamshedpur community, through education, culture and social service.
